Cautions |
(1) Prohibited during egg-laying period.
(2) This product may affect the absorption of vitamin A and vitamin B12 when taken internally. |
Drug interaction |
(1) Used in combination with macrolide antibiotics to treat mastitis due to gram-positive bacteria. (2) Internal administration may interfere with the absorption of digitalis, vitamin A or vitamin B12. (3) Synergistic effects with penicillins or cephalosporins. (4) The antibacterial effect of this product is enhanced in an alkaline environment. Combining with alkaline drugs (e.g. sodium bicarbonate, aminophylline, etc.) can enhance the antibacterial effect, but toxicity is also enhanced accordingly. When the pH exceeds 8.4, the antibacterial effect is weakened. (5) Cations such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, NH4+ and K+ can inhibit the antibacterial activity of this product. (6) Combination with cephalosporins, dextran, potent diuretics (e.g. furosemide, etc.) and erythromycin may enhance the ototoxicity of this product. (7) Skeletal muscle relaxants (e.g. succinylcholine chloride, etc.) or drugs with such effects may enhance the neuromuscular blocking effect of this product. |
