Description: Glycoterpenes are natural bioactive substances composed of sugars (30% Min), glycosomes (30% Min) and organic acids. Saccharicterpenin is a mixture of triterpenoid saponins and sugars extracted from camellia seed cake. It is a kind of brownish yellow, ash free fine crystal. Saccharicter-penin is insoluble in ether, chloroform, acetone, benzene, petroleum ether and other solvents, but soluble in warm water, carbon disulfide and ethyl acetate, and soluble in hydrous methanol, hydrous ethanol, n-butanol and glacial acetic acid. Glycoterpenes react with acetic anhydride, ammonium molybdate, ferric chloride and vanilla respectively. In the modern breeding industry, the negative effects of antibiotics are more and more obvious, such as drug residues, drug resistance and cross infection, all of which affect the quality of livestock and poultry products and indirectly endanger human health through the food chain. Therefore, the use of Saccharicterpenin or Saccharicter-penin as new green additives is the future development direction. Saccharicterpenin, a natural feed additive, is able to prevent livestock diseases and promote the growth and development of livestock and poultry. Pharmacological action: 1. Saccharicter-penin can improve the neuroendocrine immune function, disease resistance and stress resistance of animals. The results showed that Saccharicterpenin not only can effectively improve the immune function of normal animals and chickens, but also has significant effect on regulating neuroimmunity and antiviral function. Glucoterpenin significantly increased (P < 0.05) lymphocyte transformation rate (44.69%-54.07%), interleukin-2 activity (32.70%-66.09%), LGG content (83.70%-115.40%), ACTH (36.44%-122.79%) and erythrocyte C3b receptor rosette rate (21.70%); Saccharicterpenin or Saccharicter-penin had anti stress, anti mutagenesis and anti pathogenic microorganism effects. 2. The free radical scavenging and terpene scavenging activities are obvious. The free radical scavenging efficiency of Saccharicterpenin increased with the increase of concentration. Glycoterpenin significantly reduced feed acid value (38.79%) and peroxide value (31.28), and had significant antioxidant effect on VA and crude fat (P < 0.05). 3. Saccharicter-penin is able to can regulate camp/cGMP system, promote protein synthesis and digestive enzyme activity. Saccharicterpenin significantly increased (P < 0.01) the content of camp and cGMP in blood of broilers under normal conditions, and the ratio of cAMP / cGMP (λ) was 15.46; cAMP content decreased by 278.43% (P < 0.01), and λ was 0.437. The content of serum total protein (12.93%) and the activities of digestive enzymes (proteolytic enzyme, lipase, amylase) in small intestine were significantly increased (P < 0.05). Application of Saccharicterpenin or Saccharicter-penin in production 1. Effect of saccharicterpenoids on performance of Broilers The results showed that the survival rate increased by 10%, the daily gain increased by 13%, and the feed to meat ratio decreased by 8%. The results showed that adding appropriate amount of saccharicterpenoid additive to broiler diet could reduce mortality, increase daily gain, feed conversion rate and economic benefit. 2. Effect on production performance of laying poultry when using Saccharicterpenin or Saccharicter-penin: The feeding experiment of commercial layers showed that the laying rate increased by 10% and the feed to meat ratio decreased by 7.5%. The laying rate of duck increased by 15% and the feed to egg ratio decreased by 8.6%. The results showed that the economic benefits of laying hens could be significantly improved by using saccharicterpenoids as feed additives, especially in heat stress. 3. Effect of Saccharicterpenin or Saccharicter-penin on pig production performance Feeding 200 growing finishing pigs showed that adding 200-300mg/kg could promote growth, improve feed utilization rate and reduce feed cost. In a pig farm in Shunyi, Beijing suburb, the application of saccharicterpenoids in a large area has achieved satisfactory results in disease prevention, growth promotion and heat stress resistance. At the same time, because there is no drug residue, the pork is green and safe. Three batches of piglets were reared with Saccharicter-penin instead of olaquindox and bacitracin zinc. The results showed that the daily gain of glucoterpenin group was higher than that of chlortetracycline group, and the feed to meat ratio was lower than that of chlortetracycline group; the daily gain of Saccharicterpenin group was higher than that of olaquindox group and bacitracin zinc group, and the feed to meat ratio was lower than that of chlortetracycline group. The results showed that the growth promoting effect and feed utilization rate of Saccharicterpenin were better than those of other experimental groups, and no diarrhea occurred in piglets, which indicated that Saccharicterpenin could replace the antibacterial growth promoting drugs in germanium feed for piglets. 4. Impact when using Saccharicterpenin or Saccharicter-penin on the production performance of aquatic animals As a green pure natural feed additive, saccharin has been paid more and more attention in aquaculture industry, which has good social, economic and ecological benefits.
