| Feature Saccharicterpenin is a novel feed additive, extracted from Camellia L. Plant. Saccharicterpenin is safe and effective. There are three main functions of Saccharicterpenin, as regulating the immune function of animals, increasing the production performance, and improving carcass characteristics and is applicable on pigs and poultry. Functions on pigs: Saccharicterpenin enhances the activity of macrophage, lymphocyte and leucocyte, increases the nonspecific immunity, specific antibodies level after pigs vaccinated and increases IgG concentration in colostrum, enhances the immune function of pigs so as to defense diseases especially virus diseases and increase survival haricterpenin increases the average daily gain and feed efficiency of growing-finishing pigs. Saccharicterpenin decreases the back-fat thickness of growing-finishing pigs, and increases dressing percentage of growing-finishing pigs. Saccharicterpenin increases the myoglobin and inosinic acid content in meat, improves the meat color and meat taste.
