- Don't use flunixin meglumine together with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, because it will aggravate the toxic side effects on the gastrointestinal tract, such as ulceration and bleeding.
- Due to high plasma protein binding rate, when used in combination with other drugs, flunixin meglumine may displace other drugs bound to plasma proteins or be displaced by other drugs, resulting in enhanced effects of the displaced drug or even toxicity.
- Combined with antibiotics, it is used for the auxiliary treatment of lactation-free syndrome in sows.
