Doxycycline inhibits both gram-positive and negative bacteria. Cross-resistance to doxycycline and hygromycin exists. It is rapidly absorbed internally, is less affected by food, has high bioavailability, strong tissue penetration, wide distribution and long maintenance of effective blood concentration. |
