| Function and use | As a veterinary medicine, compound amoxicillin powder is mainly composed of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium. Amoxicillin belongs to β-lactam class of antibacterial drugs, has a broad spectrum antibacterial action, and has obvious antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Although potassium clavulanate itself has only weak antibacterial activity, it has a strong broad-spectrum lactamase inhibition effect, which can protect amoxicillin from lactamase hydrolysis, thereby enhancing its antibacterial action. |
