Product name | Tylvalosin Tartrate Premix |
Character | This product is a white or almost white powder, easily soluble in methanol, acetone, and ethyl acetate, and soluble in ethanol. |
Dosage and Administration | This product has a similar antibacterial effect to Tylosin, mainly against Gram positive bacteria, and is also effective against a few Gram negative bacteria and Mycoplasma. Its activity against Actinobacteria pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella, and Mycoplasma in livestock and poultry is stronger than Tylosin. 95% of hemolytic Pasteurella strains are sensitive to this product. This product is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of livestock pneumonia (caused by infections such as Actinobacteria pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella, and Mycoplasma), avian mycoplasma disease, and mastitis in lactating animals. |

Drug withdrawal period | Pigs 3 days, chickens 5 days. |
Untoward effect | No adverse reactions have been observed when used in accordance with the prescribed dosage and administration. |
Pharmacological actions | Tylvalosin Tartrate belongs to the macrolide class of animal-specific antibiotics, which inhibits the synthesis of bacterial proteins and thus the reproduction of bacteria. Its antibacterial spectrum is close to that of tylosin, such as strong antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant strains), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Bacillus anthracis, filamentous bacillus of swine, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium perfringens, and Clostridium aerogenes. It is effective against Gram-positive bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotics, but hardly works against Gram-negative bacteria, and has strong antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma septicum and Mycoplasma synoviae. Bacteria do not easily develop resistance to this product. |
Storage | Keep out of light and sealed. |
